Great complex for college students. Friendly, outgoing people everywhere. Great location. Access to 3 major freeways within a mile or two at most. Maintence staff is very helpful - does anything - perfers to do major nailing/hanging projects. I got an awesome move in special (2 months free, free dvd player, no move-in or move-out prices, no view fee). They have amazing accomodations - movie room, indoor basketball court, fair weight room (no free weights), many swimming pools and spas, tennis courts, great landscaping. Lots of cat lovers. You see them everywhere - windows & walking around. Staff is for the most part nice and helpful - except the owner. Gates suck. The break often. Crimes is fair - I haven't seen nor experienced anything but others have. Dunno. I, personally think it's really safe. There is a Tempe Police Office driving around the premise or parked by the office every night - all night. And security guards patrolling too. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Assigned parking is not very close to my apartment but it's covered and free. Water - here's the problem. Water is out of your control. The management told me that they take an average of every apartment for the month and that's what you are required to pay. It doesn't make any sense. Last month I had to pay $50. And I get water delivered so I only use it for baths and washing machine. Speaking of which - washing machines... They, along with dryers, come with the apartment. All appliances including these are pretty modern and reliable. Well this should be more than enough.
