Galleria Palms

 

As with all apartment complexes, there are going to be some problems.

Overall, my boyfriend and I have had a pretty good experience here.

We have lived here for 2 1/2 years, and are moving out because we want more of a luxurious place to live in a better location.

Galleria Palms has been nice for the stay we had here.

I have a few issues for people to be aware of before they move in.

Firstly, the front gate rarely works - so do not move here for the safety of a gated community, it might as well not be.

My boyfriend's car was broken into as well (and we live right near the front desk), so make sure to at least put a club on your steering wheel at night.

Second, main pool is often closed because people bring glass in to the pool area.

If maintenance or any staff found any glass, the pool would be closed the next day.

This was frustrating because the pool is very fun and beautiful to hang out at, so to arrive there to find it closed is discouraging.

They do keep the other pools open when this happens, but it is still frustrating.

Third, there can be a lot of little kids running around at times.

They were never very annoying, but I personally don't like to hang out with kids when I am drinking with friends at the pool.

I'm sure families thought us drinking at the pool was annoying too though, so I guess it goes both ways.

Overall, it has been a good experience.

We are not moving for any bad reason; just want a change of scenery.

The office staff and maintenance are very friendly and reliable.

I would say the majority of people living here are college kids, so take that into account if that is not what you are looking for.

We lived on the second floor and had no problems with noise.

I really think a lot of people post on here because they feel very strongly against or for a place.

That being said, I found no serious problems here and I recommend giving it a try.

Anywhere you live there will be good and bad.
