Would not recomend

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I have lived here for a year and a half and will be moving next month. For anyone considering living here, beware. Like other reviewers have said, the walls and floors are paper thin. I hear everything my upstairs neighbors are doing, EVERYTHING. We've had several different neighbors in the time we've been here so I know it's not just because those particular people are loud. The apartments are not well built and need updated appliances. My freezeer has not worked properly since I moved in. It will not freeze ice or keep anything frozen. I have called maintenance 5 times and each time they tell me there is nothing wrong with it! The pipes are noisy and something seems to break about every other month, along with the main plumbing system which seems to shut off all water to the complex for an entire day. The grounds are well maintained and the apartments are spacious but there is often trash in the parking lot. Last summer we had a moderate problem with scorpions though I have not seen any this year and we have never had a problem with any other type of bugs. My car was towed last year for no apparent reason and I had to pay 200 dollars in impound fees to get it back. The office was no help in explaining why or reimbursing me for those costs. The rent goes up at least $100 dollars each lease renewal and they make it difficult to turn in proper notice since they require 60 days. All in all, not a total ---- hole but they market these as "luxury" apartments at "luxury" rates and they are definitely far over priced. Would not recomend renting here. For the price, you can rent something much nicer with more courteous staff.
