Overall satisfying experience

My lease is coming up in a few months and I was getting ready to start looking around since I thought I might be able to find a better deal on rent given our current economy when management reached out to me and offered a rent reduction and the first month of the new lease free for renewal. Considering how pleasant my experience has been over the past 12 months I couldn't pass that up.
The staff has been friendly and helpful, the grounds are kept very well, and I still get a kick out of grabbing a grapefruit off a tree every once in awhile, they send out a monthly newsletter that announces complex events and points out major happenings in Phoenix for the month, aside from the pitter patter of children running down the walk way I very rarely am disturbed by noise in my apartment. The only real negatives have been that sometimes you have to call several times to get maintenence to respond to an issue (luckily I haven't had many at all since I moved in.) and I had a pretty insane morning when a scorpion crawled into my bed. I've killed 3 scorpions in this apartment and that is 3 more than I saw in my first 4 years living in Tempe.
All in all I would recommend Garden Grove.
