I am a sophomore at ASU, and my initial thought when moving in was that the Grigio was amazing. After being here for a few weeks I am beginning to become quite angry with the way the management is running the show. First off the management was very slow putting my roommates all on the lease together. Next off we get a noise complaint the day after it happened, nobody what so ever told us to quiet down, so we never had the opportunity to do so. A few days ago we get a random "last straw warning" which is basically a 10 day probationary period that we cannot be loud. I cannot believe how the other person responded saying that "ASU students are ruining the Grigio." What did you expect living less than a mile from the ASU campus' I agree that pictures being ripped off the walls and reckless driving in the garage is ridiculous, but saying that simple about ASU students is horrible. I would say at least 80% of the Grigio population is college students, or under 30 years old. Grigio obviously made a false promise, and you should pin it on the management, or possibly yourself. Like I said, living less than a mile away from ASU, what did you expect' Absolutely no noise' It is a complete joke.

uhhhhhh....is this serious? you're arguing because management won't let you throw parties all the time? i moved in here back in May and have been happy with the majority of my stay. I did get a little annoyed when I could not use the roof deck, but i was more pissed off at the idiot neighbors of mine who treated it like garbage. The roof deck is one of the sweetest parts of Grigio. I have used it for a private party of friends and my friends were all jealous. I show off Grigio to family when they come into town. I'm not in college anymore and i still like to party, but i do it on the weekend, and usually not here. why would i want to pay the big amount of rent that i do so random jerk-offs can come over and abuse my place, abuse the corridor walls, or potentially get me evicted? My neighbors are all real cool people, it's their idiot friends/guests that they don't keep an eye on that mess the place up. I talked to management about some stuff going on. It's clear that they not only want college students, but also that they need college students. The jist of what the lady was telling me was just that they don't want the idiot college students who think management owes it to them to keep people up all night partying on a Tuesday night just because they pay their rent on time. Uh, hello...paying your rent (high or not) does not give the right to be disrespectful to me, your neighbor. That's just the type of attitude I saw all over campus at ASU for four years, bunch of kids whose parents pay for everything their whole life without discipline so when someone steps in to say no, they throw a temper tantrum...not to get too far off topic here...just venting. Grigio is a really cool place that i am happy to call home, and i really do like the majority of people I have met here. If they could just dial it down a notch and tell their friends to respect their home, that would be cool with me. It has gotten significantly better lately.

thank you!!!......I agree The Grigio is awesome and management has always been great anytime i needed anything, they even deliver my packages to my apt. It figures that a few spoiled brats who still need a babysitter would post a comment like that. I am glad that management is enforcing the rules...it sounds like the person who posted the ridiculous comment just needs to grow up and be respectful of your neighbors. Management would not be sending you last straw notices if your neighbors weren't complaining about you.....I have not had any noise problems at all....I am glad I don't live next to the person who wrote the ridiculous comment

I never said that parties should be thrown all the time? I agree that noise should be kept to a minimum during the week. I am trying to get studying done, and so are most other people. The non-college population has to go to work. That fact is very understandable. When someone has a small amount of noise, no more than 10 people on a weekend, that should be somewhat expected. I think the security services is getting better, actually warning people about a noise complaint. I completely agree with people trashing the rooftop lounge. My roommates and I have thrown a party up there, and cleaned the place up beautifully. Some out of hand tennants ended up having a huge brawl up there, which should lead to a eviction as it did . I also think that people stealing paintings off the wall is ridiculous. There is no need to change words around. I agree with basically everything both of the responses said. You would be lucky to have me and my roommates as neighbors.
