Either the very last review is someone's idea of a sick joke, or the management decided they would throw in a good review to try and get Hayden Places' rating up higher. I have to say my favorite part was the "bless HP and all of its residents," it gave me a good laugh- I needed that. Anyways, I was a resident for over two years and can tell you in all honesty that it is a horrible apartment complex. It is dirty, ghetto and more than a little scary at night (and sometimes even during the day) for girls, maybe even guys. The lights go out often in the parking lot and won't be fixed for a whole day, leaving the residents to have to come home late at night in pitch black darkness (VERY unsafe). The planes are incredibley loud. The pigeons are everywhere and so is their poo. The appliances are old. The wind NEVER whistles through the palm trees but pigeons do coo as they drop their crap on your head. The pool isn't the classiest, in fact, nothing is new or updated in this complex. It was not run by professional staff when I was there. Who knows if things are better now....All in all, I would never let anyone I know move into this place. You can find many better apartments in the area of Tempe that won't be overrun with pigeons, planes and crack addicts.
