As a property manager myself, I spend a fair amount of time reviewing this site for my own property usually laughing at the rediculous things that people say about me, my staff, and our community. Let's face it - most of us only post her to post negative comments. Those of us posting positive comments, much like the ones for Lakefront, are usually the property managers themselves trying to combat the negative word-of-mouth "advertising" that takes place on this website. So I say this to anyone reading this post - do not believe everything you see, positive OR negative. Everyone has an agenda to fill and this site cators to that agenda. If you really want to know if an apartment community is a good place to live, GO VISIT. Talk to the staff. Talk to residents. Walk around unescorted. What does it really look like' What is the vibe you get from the place' That's how you should make the correct housing decision for you and your family. That being said, I have an agenda myself. What is it' To prevent anyone else from making the mistake I made by moving into Lakefront at West Bay. The place really is terrible, from the staff to the overall facility. The staff is terribly rude. The parking is awful. Flooding is common because of the age of the building. The parking gates never worked. The list goes on and on. I'm not here to spell out every problem that I had; there's not enough time in the day for that. Just do yourself a favor an look somewhere else. If you choose not to believe me, go check it out for yourself. Knock on a few doors and ask the people living there what they think. They'll give you the truth, but never believe a word that comes out of one of thier staff memeber's mouths.

I've lived there for a few months now and all the staff are really nice to me,so maybe you're the rude one? I mean is pretty and the residents and the staff are all nice and everything works in the apartment and the apartments are big and spacious. I can't complain!

I lived there a year and I was a very good tenant. I even went out of my way to buy a steam carpet cleaner to clean the carpets because I have 2 young kids. When I left, the carpet was as clean as the day I moved in and they are still trying to go after me for over $900 just for the carpets. I even have pics to prove it.They are just out for the money and don't care how many lives and your credit they ruin.

I agree with going to look at the property first hand, talking with tenants and walking the grounds w/out an escort trying to sell you on the place. To the girl, who is definitely a girl that thinks the place is "pretty" and the staff is nice...you are a rookie to the place or have not lived in better conditions, one or the other, either way your comment is an opinion like anyones but it serves with no validity as you have only been at LF for a couple of months, according to the post.
