I lived at Lakeview at the Bay for the past year and overall my experience was alright. The managment is pretty good and the maintainence shows up within a day of your call but there are some down sides to the complex as well. First off the air conditioning bill was ourragously high due to lack of quality insulation and decent weather striping. Second we had problems with various windows, shower drain fixtures, electrical outlets and ceiling fans. Maintainence did their best with these but some of the problems were more structural and were never fully fixed. Also the front gate was down for about a month of living here and consistantly malfunctioned. The thrid problem I had was with the rent-a-cops that patrolled at night. They made me feel more un-safe than safe. I can't decide if it was the guy running around the complex and creeping around walls like he was on a special ops mission or the lurking stalker types that would stop their car and shine their rotating light at me when I would come back from jogging at night, these guys consistently creeped me out. Oh and parking in my parking space didn't win them any points either.
