After reading some of these reviews I was shocked to find that others had similiar problems as me. While living at Lakeview at the Bay, I enjoyed my apartment and the area but had many problems with the parking, as well as problems with my dishwasher and closet doors. Although these problems were brought to management's attention multiple times, nothing was ever fixed. Upon moving out, I was shocked to recieve a letter stating I owed 800 in charges to replace the carpet. They stated that it was due to animal urine, however, I never owned a pet, nor did a pet ever take one step into my door. I asked where these ridiculous charges came from and they said that it was ferret urine and they determined that because the maintainence man had seen one in there. I wanted to know what he was doing in my apartment without permission and never got an answer, just them telling me that they always saw people going in and out of my apartment. Hello! i lived in a two bedroom with two other guys..is no one supposed to be in there but me' Refusing to pay these charges, I asked for proof and receipts that the carpet had been replaced and they couldn't come up with any. They were purely trying to rip me off! In the end, I paid no money for the ridiculous charges, and only didn't get my security deposit back. Beware, they will make up stories to get your money!!!
