This is the worst apartment imaginable. The management is awful. They are so stupid and inconsiderate. There was a triple homicide right outside my door and they didn't have enough compassion to let me out of my lease. The manager is a name that I will not say but she is awful. Don't ever live here, nothing will get fixed or resolved and you can't have an adult conversation with any of the staff members. Get away while you still can, I am stuck.

omg, can you please tell me which number you lived in?? I have been trying to find out if it's mine and they won't tell you anything! It's bullcrap...I live with my baby and I feel for our safety.

it occurred in one of the main parking lots, first turn on your left when you go into the westside entrance. i couldn't agree with the original poster more!!! this place sux and i can't wait to get out. not only was there this double homicide/suicide this winter, but last summer there apparently was a murder/suicide in one of the other apartments! the mgt made a big deal about working with the police to make a safe environment after the murders... but outside lights are still not fixed, homeless guys still get through the gate (that is always broken or left open) and the friggin' hot pool near our apartment has been broken for three months. oh yeah, and the parts to fix our sink and cabinets that have been broken since we moved in a year ago are still "on order." just say NO NO NO! this place is total &*(#@$*

I believe I lived in building S - apt #2091. The double murder/suicide took place between my building and the building north of my building. I could see everything the next morning from my window. It's not the management's fault that this happened and it was not a random act, however management's complete LACK OF COMPASSION for people who had experience with this was OUTRAGEOUS. When I decided to move out, they were rude and completely unhelpful. When leaving they got so nasty, I literally told them their complex was ghetto and I was glad to be leaving - and I am not the person to normally cause a scene. I came home at 3am, heard shots in my sleep and wake up to a crime scene in which 2 girls my age were killed in the street ~ would you want to continue living under these conditions? I moved out two days later as soon as I could secure a place AND had to pay a $2,000 move out fee - believe me, it was worth it not to have to walk to my door in this dimly lit neighborhood when I knew what just happened here. Oh, and the management had such a lack of compassion that when I put three candles in containers on the ground where one of the victims was murdered, they came and swooped them right up. Because you know, it's better to just ignore that kind of thing and hope it goes away than mourn those who have lost their lives tragically. GOOD RIDDANCE, LAKEVIEW.

Get a grip!!! Good thing you don't live in NY where this is an everyday occurrence!!! It's time to grow up and realize the world is not all peaches and cream. Welcome to reality buddy...
