I've been here for while now, not a long timer but not brand new either. I, too, stayed away from some who seemed unduly negative but, in hindsight, they were absolutely correct. The manager is everything they say: egotistical, control freak, unethical, dictatorial and on a total rant. I don't generally agree with totally cynical individuals, but in this case, they are absolutely correct. Josh is on a rant with anyone who disagrees him and can't wait to find new ways to stick it to the tenants.

I guess I need to weight in on all of this. Josh is all those things...I've tried to stay out of the crap- but it is difficult. If you're thinking of renting here, don't. You will pay and pay and pay. Right now Josh is in the process of cutting down large numbers of fruit trees on the grounds. They're healthy trees, bearing fruit. But, rather than pay for a root inhibitor to keep the pipes free of roots, he's cutting them down. He's a "take no prisoners" kind of person. He's arrogant, OCD, control freak. He's too cheap to do repairs- too cheap to repair obviously rotting support beams, doorframes, or roof overhangs. He's a paint over anything if it covers flaws up, rather than spend the money to really fix things. Let nothing stop him in his quest for absolute control of everything. If you are thinking of moving here, don't. He'll make your life hell and then charge you for the trouble of it all.
