I am the person that wrote the posting "My Home Away From Home" in October of 2006. It is now November and do I ever have a change of heart about this place!!! After I posted the 1st comment, I noticed that there was a leaky water sprinkler in my walk-in closet. I have told management about this SEVERAL times and the issue has yet to be resolved. On 11/17 I was in my closet and was getting my luggage for a vacation in Sedona. My luggage was sopping wet & FULL OF MOLD!!! I have told management about this several times and they claim they have told maintenance but now my walk-in closet looks like something from a movie! There is MOLD everywhere... on the walls, on the ceiling, on clothes and my luggage. Luckily I was able to get most of my stuff out of there before the mold ruined it, but my luggage & some clothes are not salvageable. In addition to the mold, there are gnats... because of the stagnant water. The apartment STINKS to high heaven because of the mold that grows larger on a daily basis. I have had to move out and stay with a friend because of the black mold infestation! When I would stay at my apartment I would feel nauseous, feel fatigued, have headaches, ache all over and have asthma attacks. On top of the leaking pipe issue, the grounds are over watered, causing pools of water to develop which are prime breeding grounds for pests & bugs. Other than the issues listed here, the place is quiet! But please take my advice: DO NOT RENT HERE!!! If you do, take a black light to shine on the walls & carpet. If the carpet/walls glow a 'yellow' color then there is MOLD!!!
