I've lived at the quads for almost a year now and I regret moving here. At first it seems nice and all, then it just goes downhill. I live on the third floor and I have roaches that crawl up the drain pipes and come out through my sink and I know that my neighbor below had the same problems. You can see the roaches sitting on the fence outside the apartments. The noise is ridiculous. When studying for finals last winter, I heard my neighbor below me talking on the phone, that's how thin the walls are. When a neighbor turns a shower on, or even a sink, its loud enough that it seems your own water is on. When it rains, don't expect to be able to walk outta most buildings, there's no drainage on the pathways and the parking lot often floods and you get soaked trying to get to your car. The maintence is a problem all on their own. When my dishwasher broke, it took 5 months of complaining for them to actually replace it, they said that i wasn't cleaning my dishes enough before putting them in there, what is a dishwasher for then' And they said i should change my dishwashing soap, that was my other problem. Right. My sink still doesn't drain right and everytime i complain, they say there's nothing wrong. I can't imagine there is nothing wrong if my water will sit in the sink for 10 mins before it drains out... This apartment complex is also a party place, which is not bad if you like to party, but if you want to get sleep at all, it's not likely. Every fri, sat, and sun nite, it is like a club. And since the walls are so thin, it sounds like it is inside the apartment. I wouldn't recommend anyone that wants to have a reliable apartment to move here. I am counting down the days until I leave.
