I lived there for about 2 years.
1 year alone & 1 with my fiance.
The staff turnover is kinda high, so no one really seemed to know what was going on with my lease.
1st I could have my doge then I couldn't.
We got a lot of the crime over flow from the apartments behind us.
Helicopters flying over head became more regular.
My fiance & I got harassed doing out laundry.
We were often scared to go outside at night due to random people hanging out in the parking lot.
The day before we moved out SWAT team was at the apartment across from ours.
People openly carried guns around.
My fianc 's car was broken into & his stereo stolen.
One of his windows was shattered.
Maintenance calls were responded to on time though & they were always friendly.
The people above us were extremely loud & one time one of the kids left the water on so we had leaking.
When I was living alone my oven never worked right.
It took an hour or more for it to preheat.
At first this place was pretty quiet & nice, but as time went on it got scarier.
We just felt so unsafe.
I looked out my window one time & saw a guy standing there with a gun.
They say they did background checks on people, but a lot of creepy people either lived there or hung out around there.

I've lived here at Quail Canyon since 2003, but I've never experienced the serious problems you report. My bike got stolen from my patio, but that sort of thing can happen anywhere. The office staff turnover is high, but the people they've hired have always been friendly and professional. Also, people openly carrying guns is perfectly normal for the entire state of Arizona. I know many people who open carry and none of them are criminals.
