Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2001
I moved into Rancho Las Palmas in August, 1998 sight unseen when I moved to Tempe for grad school. I was afraid of what I might find, but have to say that I couldn't have been happier with the place. I lived there for 3 years and have absolutely no complaints. Over that time there were of course an obnoxious neighbor or two...but that happens everywhere. They were always very quick to fix anything, the rates were fair, the laundry on premises always was clean and every machine worked. The gas grills outside each apartment were a nice perk too. You will be assigned one covered parking spot as well...something I didn't realize would be so important coming from Michigan - i thought those were only good for snow, but they are a must for shade in the summer here!
As I said, I moved there for grad school, and completed 3 years of coursework in a Ph.D. program while living there...reading hundreds of books, and writing dozens of papers....that feat alone atests to the quietness and comfort of living at Rancho Las Palmas.
