I had the pleasure of Salado springs being my first apartment complex to live in. I was in AZ for four months to work, so my stay at Salado Springs wasn't long. The apartments are great, I loved having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher in one unit. There are planes that fly overhead, but I had no trouble sleeping, and you really don't notice them unless you're actually listening for them. I only had one issue with my downstairs neighbor playing his music too loud, but after a short talk with him, we never had a problem again. I did have someone attempt to break into my car, but crime happens everywhere, and in Tempe, there really aren't any "bad spots" The staff at Salado Springs is GREAT, seriously. Pam is an awesome manager, she was always exceedingly polite and went out of her way to help me get my mail because I tend to order lots of things online. Michelle was one of the first people I met in AZ (I moved to AZ from PA, and I didn't know anybody in AZ), and, she was one of the few decent people that live in AZ (so decent that I actually bought her pepper spray, and let her borrow my gun while I went on vacation for a week, since there was a murderer in her neighborhood) she actually turned out to be a great friend that I still keep in touch with. Henry (maintainence) was the coolest cat on the block, so to say. He was more than helpful when I needed help packing and moving my furniture (he even got his son to help). I'm telling you, Salado Springs was one of the best things I experienced in AZ. The apartments are great, the staff is great, and the area is great. Michelle, Pam, and Henry, if you're reading this, THANK YOU!
P.S. Michelle, keep your pepper spray in your pocket, not your purse.
