When I fist moved into San Marbeya I tought it was wonderful!! Nice rooms, gated community...and so on.

But when I moved in I quickly discovered it is not at all worth the money!! When I came in my room I quickly discovered thick black hair all over the side of the floor as well as in the paint of my wall...gross.

Then the neighbor beside me had a loud dog... they are not strict at all about the no dog policy...I guess for some this would be a benefit.

Then, cannot sleep due to all the obnoxious ASU students....and get to wake up to gardeners bright and early because I don't need sleep. (a loud train also crosses by)

The parking is a pain and when you are living in a two beedroom there is only one covered spot so the other person has to park all the way across the complex. If there is a pool party ... park at CVS since there will be no parking.

And if you call those gates security you would be dumb!! people all line up outside those gates until someone with an opener drives in so they can all follow their way into the apartments... while the so called "security guard" sends text messages to his best friend ignoring all the noise and the incomming cars. I don't see how that makes ANYONE feel safe!

The apartment doesn't distribute the air evenly throughout the apartment... for instance although my roommate closed most of her vents she would always be in winter clothes while I would always be hot in summer clothes... according to the apartments I should keep closing more vents (didn't help)and I know this wasn't just my apartment.

Some maintence requests get completely ignored. or completed in weeks.

There are ants!! We had major ant problems.So did all the neighbors... the exterminator doesn't help!!

If you want to relax by the pool forget it... there are only drunken idiots who raise the water bill by bringing glass into the pool area... One month My roommate and I both went out of town exited that our water bill would be very low... needless to say it wasn't low!

Well after enduring this for a year... We move out leaving a spotless apartment and expecting our deposit.

San marbeya thought it would be necessary to change all the carpets leaving us a nice large bill of over $500!!

Same thing happened to my wife and I. They are charging us for damages that we did not do. Maybe if they did a walk through inspection with us when we moved in and a final walkthrough when we left they could have realized that our apartment was immaculate.
