Nothing special...save your money and go elsewhere

I moved to the Phoenix metro area last summer from out of state and San Palmilla happened to be the last place I looked and just needed a place fast. I really didn't have too much time to look around or otherwise I would not have chose this place.
I dont totally regret moving here, but there is nothing really that special that sets it apart from other places I have seen in the same price range.
$900 for a one bedroom in Tempe is way too high in my opinion. I guess I was paying for the Mark Taylor name. Or maybe the location being that is was so close to the freeways (10, 60, and 101) The neighborhood is really hit or miss. I would not walk the neighborhood after dark.
Maintenance is OK...they fixed a couple things for me, but when I moved out they had yet to fix my a problem in my kitchen.
The office staff besides HAWKE just sucked. The ladies were very rude. I went in a couple times with questions and the ladies would look up from there computers then just go back to work for a couple minutes before asking if they could do anything for me. I actually walked in to sign my lease and the SUSAN, who had given me the apartment tour and had taken my deposit just a couple days earlier didn't even remember who I was. I really don't need special treatment, but some courtesy wouldnt hurt.
The noise wasn't that big of a deal for me being that I moved from Queens, NY. But for anyone that is looking for a quiet complex you might want to reconsider. It was constantly loud. Being that ASU was not too far away there were a lot of parties and loud college students.
