San Palmilla

 

I've lived at San Palmilla for almost two years and I'm on the fence whether or not I would recommend it.

My experience here has been positive and negative.

PRO - great floor plans, friendly staff, well kept grounds, work out facility is never crowded, clean pool, community events are fun, etc.

CON -
the entry gates are constantly broken.

There is a guard shack, but no guard.

They don't have gate codes so your guests have to wait until another vehicle opens it with their resident pass.

That gets annoying!

Also, when we renewed our lease last year, the staff raised our rent instead of offering us a deal / incentive.

We don't have a lot of problems with noise.

Barely any issues from other apartments, but more so from people outside playing on the basketball court.

Our apartment was clean when we moved in.

It looked a lot different than the model we were shown! As for maintenance, when we had a problem it was usually fixed in a timely manner, except for when we had a problem with pigeons.

We had to take care of it on our own.

Gross! What the heck am I paying them for'

If you have the money...

the complex is worth it! Clean, Safe and Fun.
