Live in Foxtree/Scottsdale Gateway is like living in hell

First of all the name has recently changed from Foxtree to Scottsdale Gateway. I don't even know where to start... after a year of horrible examples (Including often "losing" paperwork with personal information including social security numbers)... Just in the last month they stopped mail service without notice, after 2 day in the 90 degree range they shut off our air conditioning, there is no water pressure, barely any water heat, sinks that leak, toliets that don't stop running and never get fixed, NO EMERGENCY MAINTENCE because oops someone forgot to turn on the message service but according to the office "that's not a big deal" even after they found out several residents went w/o electricly for over 8 hours(not the 1st time either and not the 1st time we have gone w/o emergency maintence), and VERY RUDE MANAGEMENT AND OFFICE STAFF... Especially the office manager Melissa who rarely bothers to show up at works and refuses to make an effort to solve any problems. The office never opens before 10:30 at the earliest and closes down w/o notice. Phone calls are never returned... regardless how serious the nature. And They are going to a lot of trouble to fix the outside grounds but any big maintence problems (such as pipes or hot water, or proper plumbing.... several back ups of black tar in multiple apartments bathtubs with no real fix) are never addressed and covered up. And this is all with in only 1 month. They have changed leases, they have service workers who harass residents and do not care about any residents or proper worksmanship. As long as they cover themselves legally they could care less what occurs. Standard line by mangement even with facts in front of their face: "we never do anything wrong and run a great property". DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. With a community so concerned about only legal issues and not their residents you wold think identity theft would be a problem but Not to Foxtree/Scottsdale Gateway. I almost forgot 2 days ago service workers were ripping out cabinets from an upstairs apartment and chucking the ripped out portions over the balconey just missing myself and another resident. AND when it rains the foundation is cracked and you get puddles in your carpet. I wish I knew about this site because it seems as if these same problems have been going on for years. I wish someone would have told me.

Well, it's interesting to see that Foxtree/Scottsdale Gateway hasn't changed their ways with mysteriously turning off A/C while it's pushing 100 outside, and with shutting off the water with no notice for hours on end (in the morning, no less). I moved out of there back in early 2006 just before they started "improving" the place. And I had all the same experiences as you.

We will be moving out as soon as our lease expires. They have fixed up the outside of this place but the A/C needs a serious upgrade. The water and electric is turned off alot without any notice. The hot water has been off for the last 4 days and I can still not get an answer from anyone on when this will be back on. Don't get me started on the bugs, the roaches come and go as they please. I would not recommend this to anyone especially females because of the crime.
