During my stay at Scottsdale Gateway I was served an eviction notice on the 2nd after I had promptly payed my rent on the 1st! They posted the eviction notice in bright flourescent paper on my front door for everyone to see. When I went to the office to talk to the person I handed my check to they basically passed the buck and blamed it on whomever prints out the eviction notices. Crime there was rampant, my neighbors appartment and car were broken into on more than one occasion, and I only lived there for less than 6 months. I was supposed to have my accent wall painted and the painter never showed up or called. I wasted 4 hours of my time waiting just to have to re-schedule. Again the buck was passed to the painter, and the painter passed the buck back and said it was never scheduled at all. I was in the process of buying a condo, and was told that if I found a renter I would not have to pay additional early termination fees. I spent plenty of time showing my apt to people, and when I finally found a renter, the office told me they had already found someone (I don't even know if this is true) and I had to pay $2600! Not only did I lose money, but I wasted my time. The apartemnts themselves are not bad for the price. Location is good, but the staff is horrible. Avoid living here.
