Nice!

I've lived here since June and this is one of the best places I've lived. Becky, the lady in the office, is very nice and whenever I report a problem she passes it on to the maintenance guys right away, who always fix it within a day. The complex is kept up and always looks nice even though it's old. The pools don't look that great, but they do keep them clean and the water is clear. Again, they're old so not much they can do about that.

The staff really goes out of their way to be helpful. One time I dropped a necklace down my bathroom sink and the maintenance guy got it out for me that day. They regularly put packages in my apartment (at my request) that get delivered to the office, since I normally get home after the office is closed.

My only complaints about the apartment are either just because it's old, because of the area, or were my own fault for not checking myself before I moved in. For example, there's no dishwasher in my apartment, which sucks, but I can live with that since it's just me living here. The cable is not in a convenient place (it's in the kitchen so I have to run cable through most of the apartment to get to the living room and my modem). The counters are painted white, which scratches and stains easily; the tub is the same way. Again I can live with that it just seems a little weird. It does look ok in general though. Otherwise I really like the apartment's layout and I'm happy that the walls in mine are block; I never hear any neighbors (though I did wake mine a few times; it is possible).

There's no covered parking here, which would be nice, but again not a necessity. The area is not the best--the neighborhood behind seems ok, but there's a really seedy convenience store next to the complex and the apartments across the street aren't nice at all. That said, my car has been safe as well as my apartment, and I do feel safe here.

I think I like the apartment so much because of the management--nice and helpful all around. I've lived places where they lost my rent checks, lost my notice to move, never fixed anything, or were just flat out rude. This place is none of the above, which makes living here very nice.
