With so many great places in the Tempe, and surrounding area, why would you want to live here!?!

Yes, I know the rent is reasonable, (that is the ONLY reason that I still live here) but the living conditions are horrid. The staff is, ok, as long as you have MONEY for them, they don't complain much.

I moved here from California, (god i miss home) to attend school. Unfortunately, with such a short notice on my start date for my classes, I had to accept the apartment sight-unseen. I was promised by Josh, who was on of the office "personnel" at the time, that I qualified for a $51 dollar move in special, only to arrive at the complex and find out that Josh NEVER ran the qualification process and I was told that I had to fork over an extra $300 dollars to move in.

In all fairness, the management staff is decent, that is if you can keep them around long enough to get to see them, I can't even count how many different managers this place has gone through since we have been residents. They will, however, work with you a little if your going to be a little late for rent, as long as you can get it taken care of by the 9th of the month, (thats when they take people to court) and pay additional fees of:

$20.00 Late notice delivery fee
$25.00 Promise to pay agreement fee
$20.00 "Insert payment reason here" fee
$ 5.00 Late fee per day

So, if you have an extra $50.00 to $100.00 just laying around... no big deal right?

I have not had to deal with maintenance much due to my experience as a hotel manager / maintenance chief. I do think that the maintenance crew around here is lacking either the experience, knowledge, or both to be able to do an effective job.

The apartments are beyond small, and almost everything has had to be repaired or replaced. The toilet is constantly overflowing and there is no water pressure in the shower. I really hate the fact that in the air conditioning/heating unit has to be switched every season and you can never have both of them working at the same time. The parking lot seems like a good place for drug busts, there is no telling how many drug related transaction myself or my family have seen take place, and domestic violence appears to be a favored pastime around here.

ohhh yeah, I have had shots fired outside my apartment while the cops were hear dealing with a different domestic violence situation... the cops never found the shooter.

And make sure that you never, ever, under any circumstances have a package that is too large for your mailbox to, and has to be delivered to the office. They kept my laptop down in the office for well over 2 weeks without notification...

In all honesty and fairness, please just save yourself the time and aggravation. Look somewhere else...
