If you're considering moving here, please read before signing that lease, you will regret it... I PROMISE! I have lived...NO, SURVIVED Sierra Vista, but I am not yet done with them. I recently moved out of these "apartments", breaking my lease through giving a 30 day notice, paying over $1,000 plus rent for the month of May so as to be free of any fees, however, I was sent a bill stating I had to pay over $1,000 dollars for not giving sufficient notice! Stating that I must pay: $100 to clean carpets, $898 for breaking the lease, and $298 charges for "miscellaneous charges" also known as "we just want to write it down to squeeze a ---- load more of money out of you." So of course I called, left my name and number because hey, once you're gone they forget about you and don't give a damn, as long as you pay, and of course waited over a week and no response. I called back, talked with a man named Omar (the one who had helped break my lease, wrote up the papers, took my money for breaking the lease and STILL FORGOT WHO I WAS! He said he would get back with me, and that was said to me nearly a week ago, still haven't heard from them or should I say "The New Management"... She has not yet called, and she had told me I would only have to pay the $100 for carpet cleaning, yet billed me nearly $300 for miscellaneous things which were not at al described on the sheet given/sent to me (the bill was sent to me through mail). WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE THAT MAKES IT SO DIFFICULT TO TALK WITH SOMEONE YOU ARE WRONGLY CHARGING AND GIVING THE RUNAROUND' While living there, my neighbors below participated in illegal drugs, heavy drinking, and people in and out, constantly sitting on the stairways, being obnoxious and loud, letting their children run around at all hours, what a shame. They never once fixed ANYTHING I put in a maintenance request for, leaving my fridge to constantly leak inside, the thermostat to remain melted and broken, blinds to be broken, bug i.e. cockroaches to infiltrate the house, along with ants...ITS HELL! Find a much nicer place, I sure as hell did and pay less!
