I just moved to this absolute dump after being referred here by an apartment finding agency, who shall remain nameless, because the guy from there was a really nice guy and helped me out all he could. I really thought I was getting a great deal, moving into a 2 bedroom apartment for $150.00 below the normal rent per month. I soon found out why, because the place has been nothing but a hassle, and I've only been here just over a week, and now I'm stuck here until August of 2009, because of the 13-month lease I just signed! After reading some of the other reviews on this site of how this place rips you off and trumps up all kinds of -------- charges, it doesn't surprise me one bit! In the first week I have had the displeasure of experiencing a clogged shower head that did not work and was obviously never even checked! ---- roaches that get in through my front door because the bottom has gaping holes in it, enough to let giant 2 inch roaches, like the one I killed on my livingroom carpet last night! A crappy air conditioning unit, that even when set on the coldest level, 50 degrees, doesn't even cool the apartment to room temperature... probably due to the holes by the front door, not to mention the fact that the rental agency pays the electricity and wants to keep the bill down and doesn't care about your personal comfort in your own home! I also have the cheapest kitchen faucet fixture that money can buy, they must have gottem this thing from the local dollar store, because it's an absolute piece of crap... at least it matches the complex and it's management! I attempted to have DirectTV install satellite and I couldn't even have this done because I selected to have HD and the satellite dish ways about 35lbs and the installer could not mount the equipment anywhere and get a signal! The kitchen counter is completely covered in scratches and with paint stains... I will have to cover the whole thing with contact paper, because if I was told they would charge me to replace the countertop, even though this ---- was here prior to my move in! The laundry facilities are a pigsty because of the lovely selection of tenants that live here, not to mention that several of the washers and dryers do not work and maintenance does not fix them. Even the mailboxes are cheap pieces of crap, my box just barely locks. Every day has been a different problem and has been a nightmare since being here... I will be glad at this time next year when I can move from this God forsaken hell-hole... needlesstosay, don't make a huge mistake and move here, I'm wishing I wouldn't have now!

I really wish you would've gotten the chance to read these reviews before moving in because I'm deeply sorry you have to live in that terrible environment. I ended my lease 5 months early, I couldn't take it. Don't leave anything visible in your car; it WILL be stolen (as well as possibly your car).

well i think that you should put in work orders fot the stuff that is wrong with your apartment. how could you expect someone to fix something if they do not know its broken. if you have roaches coming under your door you should requet them to replace weatherstripoping and if they didnt do it on request then you might have something to complain about.

I agree that the complex has many problems but it appears that the new manager Veronica is trying to fix them. My neighbors are filthy and I have had to clean our common areas myself many times. The apt is old with many scratches, rust and old carpet. I am hoping that the air conditioning gets colder than what I felt so far. I was told that I could crank it to whatever I want but that does not appeat to be true. All in all I wish I would have known what I was in for before I signed the lease and I do feel duped. That being said it is my home for a year an I am determined to make it a better place. Call the police on loud neighbors and any illegal activity, don't ignore it. Tell management about filthy, loud tenants. Hold management accountable to correcct maintenance issues.
Do your besst to set a good example. Show them that there are more decent good people than not and hopefully we can make it a better place.
If anyone reading this lives there and has kids DO NOT LET THEM LITTER AND RUN WILD .. respect yourself and others and set a positive example for your kids.

I appreciate your comments and you have a positive attitude which will help you get through your lease. This place has improved considerably since I first moved in last July, although there have been several management changes in just the 7 plus months I've been here. I do think that Veronica is trying to make a difference, but I think this place still needs to use better discretion when choosing it's tenants, because if they keep letting these ones in here with way too many kids then they can even take care of, it's going to make this place get progressively worse. I'm still anxious to get out of here in less than six months, because I want to get a smaller and cheaper rent and also would like to live in a better neighborhood. I like your encouraging words, but I feel they are going to fall on deaf ears in this place, because the property management seems to focus too much on charging fees rather than doing a better job screening prospects for tenants!
