I, too, had my rent check lost (it was later found by a staff member) and received an eviction notice. They were not apologetic or understanding. From then on, I had them write me a receipt when I paid my rent - they really hated that, and I didn't care. It was too bad, really, b/c the apartments themselves are huge w/big closets and rooms. Unfortunately, as summer hits, the place filled up with disgusting crickets.
