I have had both positive and negative experiences at this complex. This complex is maintanined relatively well and there have been a lot of improvements made in the last year.

Most of my negative experiences have been with the management staff. The Manager is very unprofessional in my opinion. There is often not enough communication when major projects will be happening that affect the residents, which have included HVAC being turned off in the summer with no notice. Also, the Manager has accosted other members of the office staff in front of clients for small issues that should have been discussed in a more reasonable matter - and not in front of us. It also took several weeks and several complaints to get the office to sumbit work orders for repairs when I moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. When someone did show up, they were more interested in trying to prove that I broke something or was doing something wrong rather than fix the issue - even though it was like that when I moved in. In a previous year that I re-signed my lease, the management staff actually refused to write up a request for several issues because I hadn't told them about it right away. So that never got done. One of those issues was the sink was rusting.

This may paint a bad picture, but over all I have been relatively happy in this complex. This place is very safe and there are not a lot of problems with noise or drugs here. There is a park down the street and a mall in the other direction, as well as access to freeways.
