I've lived at Southbank in a nice little 1-bedroom apartment. The cost per month is $560 a month and it's a great area, about a 0.5 mile from Mill Ave. It's a very community-oriented part of town still. Families are often seen walking about. Great area to wander, jog, whatever. The Boys and Girls club have a park that just opened to the public on Hardy & 5th. The only consideration is the low-flying planes. But the apartments are well insulated and you can sleep soundly. The manager and maintenence staff live right there on the premises, so getting something fixed is easy and quickly attended to.
