Tamaron Apartments

I lived in this complex and, though it's pretty and has a nice pool, my time there was a living nightmare. We could hear our neighbors upstairs...I could hear their alarm clock go off every morning. I could other bedroom noises that I will not mention, but it was disgusting and inappropriate. When they walked above us, I could hear every step they took.

The worst part (if anything can be worse than hearing another married couple in their bed) was the roaches and crickets. We had roaches crawling out of our vents, out of the bathroom sink, and crawling in our food. I kept our apartment immaculate. I had to bring my newborn baby home to this apartment of noisy neighbors and roaches, because the manager would do nothing about it. We had a bug spray guy come, but he would say "I'm spraying for ants, right?" I would correct him that it was roaches, and he would spray the same stuff anyways. The manager tried to make me think I was going crazy and would not help. We were infested! The building was poorly built.

They would spray and the next day there would be live roaches around. I was scared to shower, sleep and even breathe. One morning a roach fell on my shoulder from the ceiling. For years I had a phobia of anything dark and small--even eating kidney beans was impossible.

It was a nightmare. And I haven't told you half of it.
