Nice but noisy

Pros: Nice apartments, secure, free shuttle, good gym, nice pools and spas.
Cons: One thing that might not be apparent until you move in is the noise level from airliners constantly flying overhead. Trillium is smack dab on the Sky Harbor flight path. There is also a railroad track right next to the community, another source of noise - sometimes late at night.
Also, the office staff can be a bit cold and detached. If you are used to a warm and family feeling with an apartment management staff, as I am, then you'll have to get used to the impersonal nature of this staff.
This place is very secure, but this can be a big hassle if you host get-togethers or have frequent visitors. There is not just a vehicle gate with callbox. There is also a second layer of pedestrian gates with callboxes too, and they often don't work. So you have to run out and let people in, which can be a hassle. I guess it depends on how much you value security relative to convenience.
Overall, it's a good community. It would be perfect if not for the chilly staff and the noise level.
