these reviews are hilarious. for one, the village is a place that many first time move-outs go to...and i just want to say to them...welcome to the real world! no you can not break your lease and even though it's not an option...you can get someone to take it over. their prices may have some "sticker shock" appeal but when you consider that it's a fully furnished apartment with cable and HBO and a phone line AND water, sewage, trash...you understand that the prices are very competitive and that it all evens out (take the time to do the math). this is an amazing place for college-age students. maintenance is on point all the time. i'm sure it gets frustrating when the majority of work orders are to change the light bulbs or to replace a door that got a fist through it from a party. the security may be strict, but imagine what this place would be like without them. the kids that run around here are living off of mommy and daddy and have ABSOLUTELY no respect for others...it's a very selfish environment. the staff does their best to keep a healthy balance of fun and responsibility here. they throw numberous pool parties and on countless friday's, have supplied free pizza to the residents. the grounds men are AMAZING. they are here 7 days a week, incredibly early to pick up the bottles that you chucked off the balcony. this place is a beautiful enviroment and news flash!! but when you have to replace furniture that you've broken...furniture is actually really freaking expensive!! take a look at how much a couch costs sometime..so sorry to hear that your "partying experience" was disrupted by those who actually want to sleep on a wednesday night, but maybe it's time to grow up and take some responsibility.
