Last year, there WAS a rape in the BA building. I lived there, and the office allowed the girl to move out without having to pay for the rest of her lease (It happened in December of January, I can't remember anymore.) The worst part is that the alleged guy was ALLOWED to stay. She lived on the first floor and he lived two stories above her on the third. I never saw her since her parents came in and moved her stuff out. In addition, her roomate (which is how I knew her) was so scared by the whole thing that she also moved out, but the village would not allow her to cancel her lease, so she had to pay the remaining 6 months even though she didn't live there anymore. It was -------- if you ask me and the dude should have been kicked out, but since the girl was leaving since she was so traumatized, I guess the management figured there was no point to kick the guy out anymore on grounds that he could have filed punitive damages against them in a civil suit.

All I can say is that my family thought the Village was well priced from where we came from, but I have since found that the apartment prices in Arizona are much lower than in California, and there are some WAY better deals if you just look around a little bit more and they have the same student population.
