I lived here for a solid year. If you are into partying and this place is for you, it basically functions as a very large frat complex. At the beggining of my stay here all kinds of rifraf kept decending on the parties... i.e. people who belong in the projects in south Phoenix. The complex hired a new security company who have arrest powers and dress like Sheriff's Deputies and thus the unwanted folks don't come around anymore. Every single resident is at the most 23 years old. The location is great if you go to ASU. The maintainence take care of things in a very timely fashion. The shady manager got fired for being shady and now things are quite smooth from an administrative perspective. I am writing this in the middle of the summer when about 3/4 of the residents have left. I am moving out in a month only becasue I want to relocate to a different area. Only time will tell how the next school year effects the living conditions here. Overal I would give this place 6-7 out of 10

you kidding me? The people next door to me were evicted for heroin trafficing. A kid was bleeding in front of our apartment on the grass after being shot in the spleen. There's another shooting that a matinence guy told me about and a robbery in our building. My car has been vandalized three times and some kid in the building next to us had his car stolen.

This gives you an idea of how shoddy things are around here... management is changed constantly... this post said "new security guards dressed as sheriff's deputies"... that's BS. I recently got a notice posted to my door after the recent shootings... YES, SHOOTINGS, that there is a new security team. they dont do anything. I"m basically a law abiding citizen. I dont do drugs, but one night i got drunk and found a road flare, lit it, and ran around with it... security chased me, but all i had to do was drop it IMMEDIATELY outside my apartment door, run inside, and lock the door. All they do is knock, say it's security, and then call the police. When the police came, it was basically the same thing. Haven't heard a word since. It's basically the same for every incident here.. and everyone that lives here changes every 6 months... sorry if the dorms are full, but you should have looked into all of this sooner, right? Now you're stuck with the village.
