Well, I am set to move out this month after living at the village since August. I am moving into a house when I leave here, so here are my experiences, with the best first, worst last:
The best things about this place are the maintenance, the appearance and quality of the apartment, the beautiful girls, and the service. I had to wait once for a week for maintenance to fix a dryer that was broken, everything else happened within a day or two after putting in a service request. The apartment had good insulation, so our air conditioning bill wasn't too bad, we just had to close the blinds during the daytime to prevent the sunlight from entering. The people who live at this place are amazing. I have never seen this many hot girls in one place and meeting them at parties was too easy. Lastly, the office staff was pretty good at handling issues. Sometimes they seemed disingenuous, but having the persistance of an ant like I do, they met all of my demands.
The bad things about this place were the noise, the parking, and some of the idiots that live here. The noise can be bad on Friday and Saturday nights - sometimes Thursdays also. It's not too bad but the bass can get annoying, and if you aren't at the parties having fun, it makes you feel kind of bad. The parking is bad on the same nights. Socialization is very high here, and cars don't have a hard time following people in through the gate at night. There are douche-bags that live in this complex, and I got pissed at some of them. The two worst experiences were watching a group of 32 frat boys with their shirts off roll up to back up their brother who got his ass kicked after he called a few black guys -------. The group of black guys didn't stand a chance, but they could have ignored the racial slurs and walked away initially if they wanted to. The other bad experience was listening to a guy scream at his girlfriend on his balcony on the phone "---- you! ---- you! NO ---- YOU SLUT! IT'S OVER." Those were the only two experiences I didn't like.
I didn't mind much of it though, because it made for some really good stories and alot of laughs, even the more minor things. I did like living here, because I'm social and I like meeting new people, and it's a great meeting place if you want to invite friends over because there's always something to do or somewhere to go. I did make a few really good friends while living here. I hope this was a very objective review, and I am trying to be as honest as possible. I'd recommend living here.

you kidding me? The people next door to me were evicted for heroin trafficing. A kid was bleeding in front of our apartment on the grass after being shot in the spleen. There's another shooting that a matinence guy told me about and a robbery in our building. My car has been vandalized three times and some kid in the building next to us had his car stolen.

What kind of praise is this? This is obviously coming from someone who was over protected as a child and creamed his pants at ANY excitement whatsoever... and if you just READ what he said... waiting that long for maintenance is unacceptable... it should be fixed next day... especially considering what they make each month per apartment. Take this comment from someone that is 21, mature, and knows there is more to live that partying... I have a job, i work for a living, and rely on my parents for nothing... this place is a slum. SURE, people on their own for the first time will LOVE it... but do you really want your kid in this environment? Please believe me when I say the bad comments are true, and the good comments are from mosty frat people that LOVE to party. EVERY night, i get off work at midnight, walk into here, and have people ask me "HEY DUUUUUUDEEE!!!! WHERE'S THE PARTY AAAATTT!!!!" I'm just like, go over to the "other" side of the complex cuz i dont want them on my side... that's for sure.
