I moved in last year, and at the moment i still live here, it really is not a bad place to stay, especially compared to all the other apartments around ASU. I red some of the post and i have not had any problems with the Village. Yeah i must admit, that there is a party almost every night. They clean the pool very often, there were no needles or drugs found on the tennis courts, no gansters or thugs, not gun incidents, and all the staff (with the exception of a few) are very nice.

What section did most of you people that post, live? The reason that i ask is because a lot of these issuse have not surfaced in my section of the village. No bugs, no thugs, no stabbings, there are parties (this is college), nothing stolen, I have new carpet, walls have been repainted. No incidents with "my" car or bike. Where ever you people that post NO on recommandations, tell what section you live in so i don't live there next year.

you kidding me? The people next door to me were evicted for heroin trafficing. A kid was bleeding in front of our apartment on the grass after being shot in the spleen. There's another shooting that a matinence guy told me about and a robbery in our building. My car has been vandalized three times and some kid in the building next to us had his car stolen.

I've lived here for 2 years, and I really haven't had any trouble myself. Maybe I'm just lucky, as I have certainly heard about things happening to other people. What it all comes down to is this: Tempe isn't the "safest" town there is, no matter where you are. The Village (Gateway now) is pretty convenient to campus, especially the Neighborhood FLASH with stops in the front and back, and a good party spot if you like that sort of thing, and a pretty good deal all told, compared to some other apartments both in Tempe and where I'm from back East.
