We were in an upstairs apt near the pool. We had not one, two or three, but FOUR leaks in the place. Two from the same hole in the ceiling and two from the same toilet running.
The only reason why the ceiling stopped leaking is that it stopped raining. The air conditioner NEVER workedm it blew semi cool air even on full blast. They sent people in to fix it but the only thing that happened was that a camera was stolen by the maintenance people. We were without AC for most of the summer!! They are so cheap that they never truly fix anything they just put a band-aid on it and hope the tenants tire of complaining and leave them (management) alone. This is not a place for decent people to live. Oh yes -- always saw drug stuff and beer cans in the bushes.
