I have been here about a year, my lease is up in July and I cannot wait to move out. This place is overrun with Mexican families of 8, white-trash hill-billies sitting on their porch until 2 a.m., drunks breaking glass everywhere (my dog needed 4 stitches because he cut his paw), and unsupervised children ramming grocery carts into the cars in the parking lot. The noise volume is unbelievable, I can actually hear the moron upstairs take a piss because the walls are so thin. Car alarms and horns honk all day. Had I known what I was getting into, I would have happily paid an extra 100 bucks to live somewhere else. Sometimes, when I walk through the parking lot I feel like I'm in an episode of cops...pregnant women fighting with their baby daddy's, stoned looking losers, and people constantly shouting. This place appeared nice at first but it has reached the point to where I am absolutely embarrassed to tell people I live here. Stay far, far away. You're sanity is worth it. Oh, by the way, there are stray cats everywhere! I actually saw one giving birth the other day! It was disgusting!

The type of people you encountered are the type that rent in the Phoenix metro area. The nice people live in million dollar homes in Paradise Valley and the rest of the population works for them on factory lines and such. Renting a higher priced apartment doesn't help because then you get more people living in each apartment, sharing the rent. Oh well.
