Well, this complex is now being run by a "new" management staff, and has been re-named to Villagio, probably to escape the bad reviews of La Contenta, but nothing has changed. If anything, the complex has gotten worse since they got here. Over the past week, my area of the complex has been tagged over 10 times, including on the pavement! This NEVER happened before. They never come to fix appliances when they break. In fact, our AC was leaking and actually caught fire, and all they did was come and tape up the leak. Needless to say, it caught fire again so they finally decided to move the pipes instead of put tape over them (after four months). Our washer has been broken for over 6 months, also. The management staff has gotten much worse,too. Now they are all jerks. You think if someone is paying you money, you would give them some amount of respect.
Overall, crime is high, the staff sucks, and, while the apartments are well priced for the square footage, it is just not worth it. I have lived here over 2 years, and this new staff has me counting the days till my lease ends.
This is especially not a good place for a woman to live alone-if I did not have my husband I would be terrified. There are some pretty bad looking guys in this complex. Plus, the lights go out all the time, and they dont get fixed for weeks. If I come home at night, I cant see my doorway it is so dark.
