I lived here for a year and it wasn't too bad. The apts are quite old and the AC was failing but when the new mgmt took over they replace everything regarding the AC...no doubt they probably spent easily over $200,000 to replace the hydronic system. The maintenance man, Joe, is one of the coolest guys I have ever met...once he let me borrow a umbrella when it was raining.
The apts aren't too bad. Some of these people talk about it having a bug. Its probably because they are dirty disgusting people who don't know what a vacuum and mop are and attract bugs because they live like bugs. The only bugs I saw in my apts were little nats that went away after a few weeks after I moved in. The old resident was probably dirty and attracted those nats.
The location is good for a college student, besides the construction. More then a couple of times I had to straighten out a few residents to shut the hell up...Noise was somewhat of an issue for me. I also lived on the first floor where a lot of people walked by so that may have made it worse.
