University Place

This apartment complex is a good spot for those attending the university across the street. Living so close to class allowed me to come home for lunch and not worry about parking. The location also has its down sides. Its in a not so pretty area that could be refered to as the college ghetto. There are homeless folks wandering through the area as well. The complex makes an effort to keep them moving and recently hired a security guard for the weekends. The traffic for the university can also get on your nerves.

The apartments themselves are well maintained and are about right for the money. The maintence crew will respond within 24-48 hours to just about anything. The office staff is fair and the neighbors are pretty quiet considering the average age of the tennents.

The only concerns that I've had recently are the number of ants I've seen in and outside my apartment and the smell of cigarettes from a neighboring apartment. Nothing a little Raid and Lysol didn't take of. You can also hear the traffic from Apache depending on the apartment you rent. Otherwise, this was an excellant spot for the money.
