The management hired a new maintenance guy and allowed him to start working before his background check had cleared. While I was at work, and the staff was working on our bathtub (which had terrible problems that they took months to fix) the new guy went through my laundry, got my phone number from the work order, and later on sent me harassing stalker-esque text messages. A few days later my husband caught him standing on a bucket watching me shower through the bathroom window (which the management REQUIRES that you have open for ventilation). They dismissed him before the cops arrived, and it turns out he was a wanted felon working under an assumed name, and that if they had waited until the background stuff had come back, they would have known that. Also, he failed his drug test, and is still on the loose.
The managements response' They get pissed off now when we refuse to let them work on our apartment when we're not home.
