Confirming the nightmare

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I've lived here one year, and I can confirm the info in the "nightmare" review. The water is either turned completely off with no warning about once a month, or the water is on, but there's no HOT water. When I documented this and complained, the office staff told me the story of the tenant who's apartment was jackhammered and said there was a slab leak. This affects several buildings, as the hot water comes from a few large sources and not a water heater in your own apartment.
Worse is that another tenant I know also complained about the water being turned off with no notice, and the office staff told her that they DID know in advance that the water would be turned off, but that they didn't have enough staff to go knocking on doors to tell people. My friend told them that all they needed to do was make some photocopies of a flyer and tape them to doors; this is BASIC apartment management, and they have since turned off the water/hot water and not done this. They are ignorant AND blatantly lying because when I asked them about the water turn-off, they told me it was due to an emergency -- exactly at noon. Hmmmmn.
My car was also stolen here. Several other people's cars were broken into and also stolen. Check the Tempe Police Department's crime analysis calls per apartment complex:
http://www.tempe.gov/cau/displayappts.asp
It will tell you what kind and how many police calls are reported from which apartment complex.
Look somewhere else.
