My fiance and i have lived in willow creek for almost a year. We moved into a 1 bedroom last year and while our stay for the most part was enjoyable, Somethings towards the end of our lease were annoying. About 3 months ago our upstairs neighbor's started blasting music at all hours of the day then complained that we we're causing the noise. We're the kind of people who aren't going to start a fight so we moved into a 2br. and are MUCH happier. The 2br./2ba is a HUGE upgrade over a 1 br. and should be considered even if you are looking for a 1br. For one it's not a very big jump in rent. 1br/620 vs 2br/829. With that 200 extra dollars you get 300 more square feet and a higher standard of living. One of the big flaw's about willow creek are the ridiculous fee's and the 1970's appliances. For example.. a 50.90 late fee if you do not pay rent on time, 10 dollars after the 4th day of the month ALONG with a 25.45 service fee. The service fee entails them walking the paper to your door. Pet rent of 25 dollars a dog no matter the weight or breed. IMO people with small dogs are getting taken for a ride every month. Water and gas fees are also astronomical. On average we pay 60/mo for water/sewer/trash and gas which is almost double then what the average homeowner pays. Onto the appliances. The fridge, dishwasher AND range are out of the price is right circa 1974. They are garbage IMO but we're stuck with them. Other then that the place is not bad if you can live with the fees and ancient appliances that i mentioned above.
