I had been in this apartment for 2 time.
first time, in 2006 and second time was recently 2007-2008.
When I moved out in 2006.
I gave them 30 days notice for move out and returned my keys on the day I moved out.
Guess what' after about one month, I received a letter from the manager office and said I didn't returned the keys and even didn't tell them I was moving out, so they would charge me for couple hundred dollars for that.
That was absolute lie.
Thanks god I kept all the document they signed when I gave them the 30 days move out notice and the receipt of return keys.
In the end, they admitted that was their mistake then hang up my phone call directly without apology or even a sorry.
This time, by January 24th 2009, I moved out again.
the exact same thing happened again' What the hell problem with these staff'' I gave them 60days move out notice and returned the keys on the day I moved out.
Unfortunately, I got the letter again.
same thing!!! they said I didn't tell them when I moved out and didn't return the keys!' No Way!! I have both the papers signed by them.
I am really sick of these staffs.
Moreover, they have very strange way to charge you for the utilities and be aware they might charge you more when you move out! better read the contract carefully!!

I just had the same issue. After reading this I think they are doing it on purpose to generate more revenue. If you lose a document then you have no leg to stand on. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

When I moved out, they promised me (and signed the move out paper) stating I would recieve my FULL security deposit back since my apt was in excellent condition. I recieved a letter from them a few weeks later and not only did they take away my sec dep, but I owed $50! They had somce ridiculous charges on there. After calling SEVERAL times and asking for the apt manager to call me back, I took action and stopped in myself to have them explain why I owed. No apology but they did agree to give me my money back...what was left of it after some "standard" charges needed to be taken out. Oh and yeah, it was 2 months after I moved out that I got the check. For all you non real estate people out there, they have to give you your sec dep money back within 14 days of move out. I did not want to deal with these idiots any more than I had to so I let it go and just waited for the check. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!
