Wilshire Pines Apartments

Good for the Money! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/12/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   At first things weren't too bad. Besides the early morning wake up calls to lawn mowers and bush trimmers on weekends! Things seemed to be going well until about half way into our 12 months lease. Then all of a sudden we could not get out quick enough! First off, other tenants were becoming worse and worse. My roommate and I were followed to our apartment one night and actually had to go to a neighbor for fear of our safety. The manager is friendly and the maintenance crew is actually great! But the only thing that the management is really good at regulating is being sure the pool is closed on time (not opened). But do not plan on using the pool most of the year, because I think the water is SUPPOSED to be blue. Good luck trying to stay dry on your way to or from your car. The sprinkler systems are out of control! They are no where near the grass, but completly cover the entire sidewalk, and you will get drenched! And I hope you like out of control children who's parents never know where they are because they are running all over the complex! Up and down the stairs and right past your windows 24-7! The management does try to plan alot of cook outs and other activities which can be nice, I'm just not sure how badly you would really want to meet your neighbors. As far as crime, it never seemed bad. We have lived here a year and never had any problems besides the occasional stalker. So if you are looking for something on a budget it really is decent for what you are paying, no major catastrophies! Oh and Circle K will become your best friend!
