Wilshire pines is an ok place to live if you have bad credit, and you don't mind the noise and you don't mind your car getting broken into. Its a old complex. The manager, Tammy, is odd, maybe a crack head. She seems nice at first, but is very flaky. She is never in the office when the hours are posted, and frequently steps out for hours at a time to do who knows what. I would never live there again.

At first when I was told about this review and I came to the website and read it I was angry. But once I figured out who posted it and I realized what a hard time this person (D.M.) was going through I understood that for some reason I made a good target. I don't think it is appropriate to use this website for personal attacks. I would just encourage this person and anyone else to remember no matter where you live 'personal safety' comes first. As much as I would love to watch over the cars, property etc. 24 hours a day, I do have a family that requires my off time. I always hand out a letter at move-in about 'personal safety' such as: never leave anything in your car (ie: keys to your work place) and never leave any personal information where someone can get it (ie: your glovebox). I always encourage my residents to call Tempe PD for noise after 10:00 pm (noise ordinance, 2 calls and the offender is charged $1500.00) I will of course issue a notice but it is not very effective if I don't have a police card to back it up. I may seem odd because I truly care about this community and it's residents if that makes me 'odd' and 'flaky' so be it. I believe that is the priviledge of living in the U.S.A. we can live where ever we chose, and I would not want someone living here who didn't love it as much as my staff, the other residents and myself.
