ok in the newer half

I lived in the newer half of the apartments that's across the street with the Snyder address. These were nice and modern, all the expected appliances, very lovely plentiful bright windows, and overall quite nice. I had an excellent view of the Catalinas that couldn't be beat.
The bathrooms both had nice vanities with extra storage and drawers compared to the simple single cabinet most complexes have. The kitchen also had more storage than I could use as well.
Now for the downside - noise. It wasn't the worst place I've lived in for thin floors, but it did have problems. I could easily hear my neighbors television, conversations if in the bathroom, and plumbing made amazingly loud noises. It sounded like a banshee lived in the pipes! The other negative was occasional scorpion that found its way into my apartment. That is the price of living right up next to a wild area though.
The management was responsive and quite nice when I lived there. They were honest before I rented that I would find an occasional scorpion. I also found maintenace to be effective and polite as well. Beautiful landscaping too.
So overall I recommend this complex.
--addition: reading the other reviews it seems things might have gone downhill since I moved out which is a shame. I'll leave my remarks as they are, but be aware I moved out in 2003.
