I've since changed my views, which you can read in my comment below. Short version is: Take this review & reverse it.

Overall this place is quite nice. There are 2 pools (only the one behind the office is heated though) as well as a jacuzzi. In the front, parking is scarce, especially weekends & special events like birthdays. But in the back of the complex parking seems plentiful. Recently my car was broken into, the radio stolen & the ignition tampered with (I was even parked in front of the office!). Since then they hired new security, and there are plans to install something like 80 floodlamps throughout the complex. It is usually quiet at night, and the neighbors are usually polite. A pastor here has bible study once a week in the club house, and also has a sunday morning service there. Management takes great pride in their grounds, and the grass stays green and trimmed. The bushes & shrubs are taken care of as well as the palm trees. Some of our friends have commented that the place looks like a resort. It would definitely appear that some changes have been made since the last reviews!

Well give it a bit longer, things aren't always what they seem. It takes weeks to months to get something fixed. I've asked numerous times about getting something fixed only to get blown off. It is very noisy here and the neighbors are rude and loud also. Kids play out on the driveway, noisy car radios almost every night, and barking dogs very often disturb us. So where exactly do you live again? Can't be here at Arcadia.

Well I've since moved away for numerous reasons. Much of what I said they would do never happened. The "new security" they hired turned out to be a "courtesy patrol" which showed up infrequently, the floodlights they claimed they would put in never appeared. The complex is dimly lit at best & dark at worst. The management changed & things went from bad to worse. We didn't realize it until after we transfered from a 1 bedroom apartment in the front to a 2 bedroom in the back. We had roaches that never got taken care of properly, one of the bathrooms had absolutely no hot water, the kitchen cupboards were all screwed up. Pest control came through so often we stopped unpacking our belongings after they came, though I doubt pest control did anything. After one visit from pest control one of the first things I saw when I came back inside was a roach. So I broke out the Raid & sprayed the kitchen, killing about 3 more roaches. And word to the wise; lease renewals are for 13 months instead of 12, but they only advertise as a 1 year renewal...If you're thinking of moving in, don't!
