Arcadia Park seems to be on the decline.

I have resided in Arcadia Park Apartments for almost 4 years now.
When we first moved in, this was definitely a very nice complex.
The grounds were immaculate, the landscaping was done once a week without fail, and the prices were very reasonable.
The staff at the office has always been and continues to be excellent.
Unfortunately the complex was sold to new ownership within the last year and things have gone downhill.
As I write this, the landscaping has not been done in over three weeks and the "grass" now resembles a weed garden.
The entire north side of the complex looks very very unkempt.
The new owners have raised the rent quite a bit (at least on our 2Bdrm 2Bth model) and we are paying much more than we would in a comparable apartment anywhere else in town.
When the rates were increased we asked what the reason for this increase was.
We were told that there would be "improvements" made, and in specific we were told they were putting in a fitness center and carports.
There has been no sign of any fitness center being built at all.
They did install carports but they also now charge residents to use them.
The Maintenance used to be very quick and very professional.
Since the change in ownership, the maintenance crew has also changed.
The new maintenance does not clean up the parking lot area as the old crew once did.
In general, things at Arcadia Park have slowly gone downhill and my family is not going to be renewing the lease when it ends.
Although we love the area, and (when it was still being kept up regularly) we love this complex, the raise in rent and the general decline of the complex have definitely made us want to rent elsewhere.

I concur with this author. We moved in a year ago and the place has severely declined. The grass is not clipped regularly, the parking lots are no longer cleaned and our rent was also raised. The management is friendly but unwilling to admit to any change in the status of the apartments and you have to request repeatedly to get maintenance to show up and even then they do not fix the problem, or do a cheap, quick fix.

I agree as well! When we moved in this past year we were told that if we had any trouble with the apartment to just let the office know. We still have things that haven't been fixed. There is trash all over the grounds. People don't pick up after there pets, cats are left out all night and use my patio as a litter box. After the carports were installed we tried to pay for one, but other people were always parking in our spot and the office wouldn't do anything about. Now there are parties and loud kids living all around me! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO END!
