I have had the worst luck with AZ Commons II. It is a great location if you're a student attending Pima CC or the U of A, but you'll have better luck expanding out if you're into the safety factor. The apartment complex is filled with college students which is nice for the social aspect.

The negatives, and there are many, come from inadequate service to the renters. My roommate and I have had serious issues with cockroaches and ants. We have informed the front office of our problem and they act like it is not an issue at all. Also, I have had to thefts since living here. The first one was my first weekend here when my computer, digital camera, money and my military school rank (replaceable, but significant) was stolen from my apartment; and the second one was just last week when my car was broken into. The third car break-in that week and the sixth that I know of since the beginning of the semester. Mind you, we are eight or so weeks into the semester.

The front office is in transition from new ownership and they assured that theft will not be an issue when they higher new security services. Honestly, I think they're blowing smoke up my ass.

Sign lease with caution. I'm committed to a twelve month lease, but I am working towards a case to where I can get out of it.
